Colouring book for relaxation

A few weeks ago I decided that I would try out a colouring book for relaxing after seeing lots in the shops for grown ups lately. I chose Zen Colouring Collection, Advanced Art Therapy book which I got from WH Smith for £5.99. I've been enjoying just colouring away while I relax with a cup of tea on the sofa, it's been great as a quiet and calm activity. I'm really enjoying it!

Time for a new hair colour

I've gone back to pink! I got my base colour to a pale blonde with mint green tips (which are stained from when I had green & turquoise hair a while back). I used half a tub of Directions Flamingo Pink diluted with a white conditioner, which made a pretty pink shade on the blonde hair, and a pinky purple on the mint green hair. I've also been using Bonacure Silver shampoo to keep my pink from going to salmon pink. I'm really liking having pink hair again!

Glitter lips

I adore glitter and I'm always trying out different ways of applying it with my makeup. To get this look I simply used E.L.F Cosmetics lip stain in Pink Petal, and a white iridescent cosmetic glitter. First I applied the lip stain by dabbing it lightly on the middle of my lips and pressing my lips together. This gave the centre of my lips a pretty burst of colour, while leaving the outside of my lips natural. Then I quickly applied the glitter to my lips with a lip brush, pressed my lips together again, and the glitter stuck to the lip stain before the colour was dry. A quick and easy way to do a glitter lip colour!
